Gun supplies are being supplied to the city from overseas, and police have expressed fears of gun sales in many parts of the city. Unlicensed guns from Maharashtra can be bought and sold in Bangalore.

The accused had allegedly tried to sell the pistol illegally near the satellite bus stop and placed the pistol in the white bag inside the black bag. Batarayanapura police have arrested two accused in this connection.

Maharashtra-based Rahul Satish Mane and Rafiq Dastagir Nadaf were arrested. Police also seized five live bullets with pistols from the detainees. The arrested accused are from Kolhapur district of Maharashtra.

A case has been registered at Batarayanapura police station.
